Nodo is the new collection of stainless steel taps by Super Inox, born from the desire to create a collection that combines classic elegance and contemporary sensibility. The project perfectly responds to a specific market demand: to create a collection that evokes tradition by reviving the historic cross shape, a symbol of a time when design was a balance between power and refinement. To best interpret this vision, Super Inox chose architect and designer Raffaella Mangiarotti:

With Nodo, elegance, lightness and historicity merge into an essential formal language, capable of interacting with architecture and lasting over time.

The knot as archetype: origin, symbol, vision

Nodo is much more than a shape: it is a concept. It is a gesture that unites, binds and connects. In this collection, the knot takes on symbolic significance: it represents the point where function meets beauty, where material becomes form and design becomes narrative.

The inspiration stems from the desire to reinterpret two classic icons of tap design: the cross and the sphere. Two archetypal, essential, recognisable shapes. The designer wanted to give them new life, shaping them into an elegant, silent object, capable of interacting with the space in a natural way.

Design that stems from function and enhances every space

Creating an object with such a simple shape requires enormous precision. “Essentiality is always a difficult achievement”, explains Raffaella Mangiarotti. “Every millimetre has been carefully thought out, every point of contact between the elements designed to integrate perfectly and disappear from view“.

Nodo’s design philosophy is deeply consistent with that of Super Inox: adding value to everyday use, elevating functional objects to design components through the quality of materials, intelligent form and technical precision.

Available in a range of finishes, the line fits naturally into modern, minimalist or contemporary environments where every detail makes a difference.

Stainless steel is 100% recyclable, free of harmful substances and ideal for environments that require hygiene and durability. Its tactile finish, enhanced by matt or satin finishes, enriches the everyday user experience.
Each tap is designed and manufactured in-house at the Super Inox factory on the shores of Lake Maggiore. Production is entirely Made in Italy, with direct control of every stage, from metalworking to the final finish.
This guarantees a short supply chain, the highest quality standards and environmental sustainability.
